Restylane and Juviderm for Labial Folds

Restylane is the foremost cosmetic dermal filler made of crystal-clear gel called Non-animal stabilized hyaluronic acid. Hyaluronic acid is natural substance that already exists in the human body and is used to provide volume and fullness to the skin.

Hyaluronic acid is present in all living organisms. Its availability in skin creates volume, and therefore a more youthful and healthy appearance. Restylane is injected in the folds, once in the skin Restylane works together with the body's own hyaluronic acid and joins forces to create volume.

Our patients love the immediate results, that can last 3 to 6 months! After the treatment there may be a slight redness, swelling, tenderness or itching sensation at the treated area with slight bruising. This is normal and will clearing a day or two.

Juviderm is another hyaluronic acid dermal filler. Although similar to Restylane, many of our patients prefer Juviderm because the results seems to lasts longer than Restylane.
