About Your Dermatologist

Dr. Dannise Beckley began her Dermatology Practice in 1990. She was Associate Professor of Dermatology and the Director of Dermatology at the University of Texas Health Science Center, Tyler Texas. She is Board Certified by the American Board of Dermatology and did her Dermatology residency at the University of Texas Health Science Center in Lubbock Texas. Dr. Beckley is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, the Texas Dermatology Society, the Texas Medical Association, the Smith County Medical Society, the American College of Phlebology, the International Academy of Cosmetic Dermatology and the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery.

Dr. Beckley has served on the Texas Medical Association’s Speakers’ Bureau and the Physician Oncology Education Program. Recently she served on the Medical Advisory Board for Glaxo Wellcome. She is an educational speaker for Lumenis, one of the largest laser companies in the world.

Dr. Beckley was selected by her peers as one of the “Best Doctors in America” in 1996 and again in 2001.

She is happily married to a fellow physician.
